What is TriTownVision.com? First and foremost, this is a community of discussion, technology, and solutions! The idea came about while we were hiking in the woods near the Village of Afton, in upstate New York. After observing many events and situations in our local area that could have been helped, improved, or brought to solution by access to various web technologies, we decided to create a platform to facilitate no and/or low cost solutions for local groups, organizations, schools, and municipalities to take advantage of, and benefit from, various internet technologies including forums, streaming audio / video, blogs, etc. See our other pages concerning streaming technologies and blogs to learn more about these technologies, and ways that your organization can access and leverage these technologies to local benefit!
Please keep in mind, that (likely) much like your organization, TriTownVision.com is ran on a volunteer basis. What we lack in personnel and funding, we make up for in access to world-class technologies, server farms, and content delivery networks. We decided that instead of local groups having to endlessly duplicate each other's efforts (at a rediculous cost to benefit ratio), it would make more sense in these economic times to find ways to scale as many local organizations wants and needs as possible into our existing technology framework.
